Missions are small tasks you can complete to earn extra Cashback and rewards. Missions can include:
- Referring one or more friends
- Shopping at specific stores
- Spending a certain amount of money
We update Missions often to provide more ways to earn Cashback, so do keep an eye out for them!
Finding and joining missions
- In your ShopBack app, tap Missions
- Here you’ll find all the Missions we currently have. Once you've found a Mission you want to join, you can tap on it to see more details or tap Join to get started immediately.
- If you tap Join and see a clock icon, this means you’ve joined the mission, but it hasn't begun yet. Check the start date and make sure to come back when the Mission begins, as some Missions have limited spots or rewards - it pays to be fast!
- Make sure to read through the Terms and Conditions and meet all the Mission’s requirements to qualify for your bonus rewards.
- Don't forget to complete your mission in time!
Check Mission status
Your progress updates will vary depending on the mission requirements.
For Missions requiring a purchase
We'll update your progress once Cashback from your purchase is tracked. This could take up to 3 days, depending on the store.
For referral Mission
We'll update your progress once you and your friend (or in some cases, friends) finish all steps to successfully complete the referral.
Reward status
Once you complete a Mission, your reward status will initially show as Pending. Your purchases need to be validated, and your Cashback has to be confirmed. Once your purchase and Cashback are confirmed, you can claim your reward.
Other reward statuses
You might see other statuses like:.
- All rewards claimed:
You finished the Mission, but all limited rewards were claimed. - Rewards missed:
You joined the Mission, but all limited rewards were claimed. - Rewards expired:
You finished the Mission, but the reward expired. - Requirements not met:
You didn’t meet all the Mission requirements.
Don't worry, we are constantly bringing you new Missions for you to join. If you've missed this one, join and complete the next one!
Claiming rewards
There's nothing better than sweet, sweet rewards. So, once you’ve successfully completed a mission, return to that mission under the “Explore Missions” tab and click “Claim.” This is the only way to release your reward!
