This guide covers everything you need to know about managing and updating your email address, mobile number and other personal details. We’ll explain how you can view and update these details on the ShopBack app and website.

How to update your email address

Unfortunately, you can’t update the email address for your ShopBack account directly due to security reasons. 

However, Sparky, ShopBack’s friendly virtual assistant, will be happy to help. All you need to do is answer a set of questions to verify that it’s really you. This will help us update your email address safely. 

How to update your mobile number

To update your mobile number:

  1. While logged into your ShopBack account, go to Account → Personal info.
  2. Tap on your currently registered phone number to edit.
  3. To keep your account safe, you’ll need to confirm your current mobile number and password.
  4. Once you’ve verified it’s you, enter your new number.
  5. We’ll send a verification text message to the new number. Enter the code.
  6. If your code doesn’t arrive after waiting 30 seconds, you can request another code. You can choose to receive it via SMS, WhatsApp or phone call.
  7. After you’ve successfully verified your OTP code, your phone number will be updated.

 

How to update your personal details

To update your personal details:

  1. While logged into your ShopBack account, go to Account → Personal info.
  2. Tap Personal info.
  3. Here, you can update your name, gender, birthday, address line, and postal code. 
  4. Tap Save on the right upper hand corner to save any changes you’ve made.
